                   	     ORDINANCE 10573
                
                
                
                 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHATTANOOGA CITY CODE,
                 PART II, CHAPTER 12, SO AS TO ADD SECTION
                 12-21, RELATIVE TO CITY COURT COSTS.

              	   BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
         CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE:
        
              	   SECTION 1.	  That Chattanooga City Code, Part II,
         Chapter 12 be amended to add Section 12-21 as follows:
              Sec. 12-21.  Court Costs.
             
              	   (a)	In all cases tried in the City Court of
              Chattanooga for the violation of ordinances of said
              City, costs shall be taxed as follows:
             
              	   Clerk's Fee . . . . . . . . . . . . . $13.50
              	   Microfilming  . . . . . . . . . . . .   1.00
              	   Data Processing . . . . . . . . . . .   2.75
             
              	   (b)	The following costs shall be taxed as
              applicable:
             
              	   Photocopy . . . . . . . . . . . . . .   1.00
              	   Facsimile . . . . . . . . . . . . . .   2.00
              	   Local Litigation (criminal) . . . . .   5.25
              	   Processing of Release forms . . . . .   5.00
              	   Service of Process  . . . . . . . . .   5.00
             
              	   (c)	The costs in subsections (a) and (b)
              above shall be in addition to the Court Costs
              provided for in Chattanooga City Code, Part I,
              Section 4.4.

              	   (d)	The Clerk's fee in the amount of Thirteen
              Dollars ($13.50) shall be reduced to Three and
              50/100 Dollars ($3.50) for all violations paid
              prior to Court.
             
        
              	   SECTION 2.	  That this Ordinance shall take effect two 

         (2) weeks from and after its passage, as provided by law.
